ABOUT US

Silvana Coelho is a multidisciplinary artist born in Brazil who has been living and creating in Israel since 2005. She began her professional journey as an engineer, building an international career, but it was during a profound personal crisis following the COVID pandemic that she discovered her true purpose in the world of art.

Without formal academic training in the arts, yet driven by a deep passion and an extraordinary capacity for expression, Silvana began studying painting with the artist Michael Kogan, who became her teacher and mentor. Through this encounter, she discovered her unique artistic voice: a fusion of intuition, music, and free emotion expressed through a vibrant, living, and authentic chromatic language.

Her works move between figurative and abstract styles and are characterized by expressive lines, intense movement, and symbolic imagery drawn from nature, animals, and complex human figures. Each painting emerges from a profound emotional process and is often inspired by a specific melody — like an inner dialogue between sound and color.

Silvana’s works have been presented in several collective and solo exhibitions, including We Art Gallery in Carmiel, Manole Art Gallery in Ein Hod, Al Ha Agam Gallery in Raanana, and more recently at Contemplor Gallery in Vienna, Austria. She is a member of the Association of Painters and Sculptors in Israel, at the Marc Chagall Artists’ House in Haifa.

Silvana creates in her home studio, where painting becomes a space for inner exploration, freedom, and transformation. As a student of art and psychology, she seeks to deepen her understanding of the mysteries of her own creative process and her personal experience of healing, with the hope that in the future she may share this artistic language as a tool for expression and transformation for others.
